Is This How It Feels Like in Jail?
For the first time, I think the world reached a consensus that no one is immune from the impact of Covid-19, literally and retrospectively. Our world was turned upside down with international and interstate borders closed, cities in lockdown and businesses shut, health care providers and patients fighting to survive a new virus.
We in Australia definitely didn’t spare from lockdowns and movement restrictions, but at least we can step out of the house to get some fresh air and exercise safely (feel sorry for the Victorians). With staying home being the only option before the reopening, we work, cook, eat, exercise, play and sleep, all within the confined of the four walls. Thanks to technology, a lot can be done compared to just 2 decades ago. I can’t imagine this pandemic happen to us then.
The unit we stay has a very thoughtful re-layout where we can all have our own corners, to cope with working or studying from home.
